About Provision
Provision is building AI products for the people who make pre-construction decisions. We help contractors find risks, clarify scope, and work through complex construction documents with more speed and confidence. Our products are shaped by real contractor workflows, so practical customer insight is central to how we build.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own meaningful product work across two fronts: improving the agentic workflows our customers use today, and taking a new product from early customer discovery through launch and iteration. You will report to the CEO and work closely with engineering, design, go-to-market, and customers.
This is an execution-heavy role for someone who wants to be close to the product. You will spend time with contractors and pre-construction teams, turn ambiguous problems into sharp product decisions, and stay involved until the work is adopted and delivering value. This is not a people-management role.
Your First-Year Mandate
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a meaningful part of Provision's existing agentic workflows, making them more useful, reliable, and easy to adopt.
- Lead a new product from customer discovery and problem definition through requirements, launch, and iteration.
- Build a dependable customer-discovery loop that turns contractor feedback, product usage, and support signals into clear product decisions.
- Establish a strong product operating rhythm for your area: prioritization, PRDs, quality standards, launch plans, and success metrics.
What You Will Do
- Develop product strategy and roadmaps for AI-enabled pre-construction workflows, grounded in customer problems and business priorities.
- Partner directly with customers to understand how estimators and pre-construction teams work, where they lose time, and what makes them trust or reject a product output.
- Turn discovery into high-quality product requirements, user journeys, acceptance criteria, and well-scoped decisions for engineering and design.
- Lead initiatives end to end, from opportunity assessment and prototyping through development, launch, adoption, and iteration.
- Improve existing agentic workflows by identifying failure modes, clarifying product behavior, and balancing user value with technical feasibility.
- Define and use product metrics to assess adoption, workflow completion, output quality, and customer impact.
- Run clear prioritization and planning processes with the CEO, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
- Communicate product direction, trade-offs, and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical teammates.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally shipping B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or workflow products.
- A track record of taking products or major features from ambiguous customer problems to measurable adoption.
- Experience working on AI-enabled products, developer tools, data products, or complex technical workflows. You do not need to be an engineer, but you can work fluently with engineers on system behavior, data, and trade-offs.
- Excellent customer-discovery skills. You can ask useful questions, separate signals from noise, and turn what you learn into decisions.
- Strong written communication. You can make a complex problem legible through a concise PRD, product narrative, or decision memo.
- Good product judgment and a high bar for clarity, quality, and usefulness in the details of a workflow.
- Comfort owning a broad problem space and moving from strategy to execution without waiting for perfect information.
- Construction technology or pre-construction experience is helpful, but not required.
How We Work
- We start with the contractor's job to be done, not a feature request.
- We stay close to real workflows and use customer evidence to make trade-offs.
- We care about AI products that are genuinely useful and trustworthy, not demos that only work in ideal conditions.
- We work collaboratively across product, engineering, design, go-to-market, and construction expertise.
Compensation
The expected base salary range for this role is $150,000–$190,000 CAD, plus stock options representing 0.05%–0.15% of the company. Final compensation depends on experience and scope.
